ECOS/Ouverture relies on article 10 ERDF. It is currently the only action to encourage local co-operation among local actors of the Union and Central and Eastern European countries (CEECs). ECOREGION was accepted among more then 300 projects, only 31 had been submitted. The project has a overall budget of € 703.778, for the ERDF-part 59,55% and for the PHARE-Pare 77,89 % are co-financed by the EC.
